Biography:

Dr. Siddiqui is the founder of TeleMed2U where he serves as its Chief Medical Officer with oversight of the TeleMed2U's clinical and technical program development as well as maintaining a thriving telemedicine practice in infectious diseases which includes specialized care of Hepatitis and HIV.

Prior to TeleMed2U, from 2002 - 2010, Siddiqui co-developed and directed one of the nation's leading academic telemedicine programs at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. During his tenure he served as associate medical director for the Center for Health and Technology and as medical director for the telemedicine clinics. From 2005 - 2010, Siddiqui secured signifi-cant federal and state grant support to develop the first private sector inpatient infectious diseases telemedicine consultative service in the United States. Siddiqui has participated in over one hundred clinical research projects and served as coprincipal investigator in telemedicine studies evaluating outcomes, economics, innovative applications and new technology development. He has authored articles in peer-reviewed journals, published manuscripts and abstracts and presented at national and international medical industry conferences.

Dr. Siddiqui received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1996 from the University of Missouri Columbia, in Columbia, MO. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, in Santa Barbara, CA, and his fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento, CA.

Dr. Siddiqui is a member of Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), HIV Medical Association (HIVMA) and CA Medical Association (CMA).
